- How do I clean and care for my sex toys?
Most toys can be kept clean and safe by washing with mild soap and warm water whenever youve used them. However, porous toys such as jelly or rubber should be cleaned with antibacterial wipes, which can be purchased from any supermarket. Do not clean porous toys with alcohol, harsh soap or boiling water. Alternatively, use a condom with porous toys and then wash with mild soap and warm water.
Silicone toys can be cleaned by submerging in very hot water. Plastic toys can be cleaned by gently rubbing with a cotton wool ball soaked in alcohol and then rinsing. Make sure toys are well rinsed and dried before putting them away.
Remove any batteries when you aren`t using the toy, especially when youre cleaning it. If sharing toys with your partner or if you are using the same toy for vaginal and anal use, clean it before each use or use a condom.
- How to Choose and Wear a Corset?
1. You should select a corset 2 to 6 inches smaller than your natural waist size.
2. Always fully loosen the laces before putting your corset on.
3. Tighten the two `vertical` laces first then work the other lace in towards the middle.
4. Our corsets work best when broken in slowly and not laced too tightly too soon.
5. NEVER open the front busk of your corset while tightly laced. Always loosen the lacing at the back of your corset before trying to open the busk front. Failure to loosen enough will cause undue stress and could result in a broken or bent busk.
6. When not wearing your corset allow it to breath by placing it open over a chair or pillow with the lining exposed.
7. If you must clean your corset wash by hand in cold water using lingerie soap. Otherwise dry clean following the garment instructions.
- How do I take care of my rubber?
Here are some basic steps that should help you care for, and get the best out of your new rubber garments...
Store rubber clothing away from heat, direct sunlight, UV light, salt water, chlorine, and `waxed` clothing. Heat and strong light will make the rubber discoloured and dull, and can cause seams to weaken. Ideally, cover the garment in plastic and hang in a cool dark place.
When putting rubber on, liberally apply talc or a silicon based lubricant to the inside of the garment. This will prevent the rubber from gripping your skin. Carefully pull on the garment taking care not to pierce the rubber with sharp jewellery or long nails.
Alternatively a massage lotion, such as Eros Bodyglide, can be used. Applying a small amount to the skin will help you slide into your rubber clothing with ease. Eros is oil and fat free, non sticky and will not harm your rubber.
Polish your rubber and wipe over the garment with a lint free cloth, chamois leather or something similar. This will condition the rubber and keep it looking shiny. For a speedy, high gloss finish you can use Silicone spray, which is easy and dramatic.
After wearing your rubber garment, it can be wiped with luke warm soapy water. Avoid using detergents or abrasive cleaning fluids/powders. When completely dry thoroughly talc the inside of the garment and then hang on a cushioned hanger.
Properly cared for, your rubber clothing should maintain its shape, quality, and allure for years. Regularly polishing keeps the items conditioned, supple and ready to wear.
- Warning For All Rubber/Latex Products (Allergy Information)
Allergy information
Our rubber clothing is cut from latex sheeting, made from natural rubber latex (NRL), which is a vital ingredient found in thousands of every day products and healthcare items. It can be found in items such as balloons, clothing elastic, adhesive tape, condoms, surgical gloves, elasticated bandages and many, many more.
However, the natural proteins found in NRL can cause some people to have an allergic reaction. If you are allergic to this protein, you may have experienced reactions to kiwi fruit, avocado, banana, chestnut, potato, tomato, cherry, peach, and some other plant foods.
It is the body`s immune system which reacts to proteins found in NRL, specific antibodies called IgE are hypersensitive to the protein. IgE- mediated reactions are the cause of this allergy, customers with this allergy are advised to avoid rubber sheeting/ clothing.
It is thetefore the customers responsibility to ensure they do not have this allergy, before purchasing goods within this category.
If you experience any itching, redness or swelling upon contact, remove immediately. Please consult your doctor or phyisician.
